- By sponsoring the 2nd Annual Law Student Writing Contest
The 27th Annual Health Law Symposium will be held on October 21, 2009, at Navy Pier in Chicago. As you know, the Symposium is one of the premier health law programs in Illinois. The Symposium offers nationally known speakers and excellent materials. Attendees include lawyers from a broad range of law firms as well as in-house counsel from hospitals, health systems, and life science companies.
Your symposium sponsorship of $500 will enable IAHA to continue to offer top quality speakers and materials, while keeping registration fees reasonable. Symposium sponsors’ names will be listed on the symposium brochure and in several issues of the monthly publication Illinois Healthcare Law - both of which are seen by IAHA’s 540+ members the CEOs of 200 member hospitals of the Illinois Hospital Association. Sponsors’ names will also be listed in the symposium binder, which is taken home by attendees and used as a resource throughout the year. The IAHA Program Committee is planning another great program and expect attendance of approximately 200. To have your firm name listed as a Sponsor in the Symposium brochure, we must receive your form and payment no later than Friday, May 29, 2009.
The 2nd Annual Law Student Writing Competition will help attract the next generation of health lawyers to the IAHA while also furthering IAHA’s mission of fostering the sharing of knowledge and information in the field of health law.
IAHA is offering sponsorships to match the prizes of $2,500 for first place, $1,500 for second place and $500 for third place. Each prize certificate will include the sponsor’s name, which will also be listed in Illinois Healthcare Law and on signage at the Symposium. Writing competition prizes will be announced during the luncheon at the Symposium.
