IAHA COMMITTEES
IAHA Committees are reconstituted in the early part
of each calendar year.
Program Committee
This committee plans the
Illinois Health Law Symposium, including its topics and speakers, and meets 4 to
5 times throughout the year for planning purposes. Committee members are
expected to attend these meetings in person. The Program Committee is
chaired by the IAHA President Elect.
Quarterly Lecture Committee
This committee
determines the topic and speakers for each quarterly lecture. The Quarterly
Lecture Committee meets approximately 4 times per year. Committee members may
participate in these meetings via conference call.
Membership Committee
This committee
considers issues relating to recruitment and retention of members, including
membership outreach initiatives, orientation programs for new members and follow
up with those who allow their membership to lapse. The Membership Committee
meets 4 to 5 times per year via conference call.
Publications Committee
This committee
oversees designated publications, including the Annual Illinois Health
Law Survey, which provides a comprehensive summary of Illinois regulatory and
case law developments. The Publications Committee meets 2 to 3 times per
year via conference call. Members are also responsible for providing editorial comments on the Survey
and other publications.
Bylaws and Governance Committee
This committee reviews the Association bylaws annually and recommends any
necessary amendments to the Board. The Bylaws and Governance Committee meets on
an as-needed basis.
