5th Annual Law Student Writing Competition
Submission Deadline - June 1, 2012

The Illinois Association of Healthcare Attorneys is pleased to announce the 5th Annual Law Student Writing Competition. Law students are eligible to participate in this competition by submitting a paper of publishable quality on a federal or Illinois health law issue.

Winners will be announced at the IAHA Annual Health Law Symposium in October 2012 at Navy Pier. The following prizes will be awarded:

First Place - $2,500
Second Place - $1,500
Third Place - $500

Founded in 1976, the Illinois Association of Healthcare Attorneys (IAHA) serves the informational and educational needs of attorneys representing the health care industry, from hospitals and physicians to medical device and pharmaceutical manufacturers. We sponsor a number of educational programs, many of which are uniquely focused on Illinois health law developments.

IAHA's membership is open to attorneys, law students and others interested in legal issues surrounding the delivery of health care. Our more than 400 active members come from both in-house and firm settings and include students, new lawyers and experienced practitioners. In addition to providing educational opportunities, IAHA programs provide a forum for our members to network with colleagues and exchange ideas and best practices.
